Diamond Masks and Ladies Ball

A long blue dress, a diamond mask and my tiny pearls earrings… Tonight is my ladies ball. Go away my daily worries, please let me dream in satin for the whole evening. My dear Prince Charming, make me dance, make me blush, make me escape with you. Smooth dances, the sound of Chopin on the piano and kisses sent in the air: tonight is my favourite evening of the year.

Dreams in my Roses Courtyard

Pretty roses, beautiful garden and a few dreams: this afternoon will be spent dreaming away in my roses courtyard. A delicate breeze, a subtle perfume and my leather notepad: today will be spent writings of dreams, writing away. Musings and roses, sun and dreams… this is a delightful day.

My Dear Banana Split

Melting chocolate ice cream, a spoonful of raspberries and the very famous cherry on the top lying on a banana bed: oh it’s you again my dear banana split. Cheeky desert, you make my bottom a little rounder, my appetite a little bit smaller and my eyes a little bit bigger. Pink, brown, yellow and red, your colours are irresistible. Red, pink.. oh did I just eat it all?

Red Mushrooms and Funny White Dots

This morning I entered a funny room, a room of big red mushrooms and little white dots. This morning I looked at myself in the mirror and saw a little red face and a long white body, is it me or a big mushroom? Is madness in the air or just a Japonese feel of spring in the Maison Rouge in Paris? Funny white dots and a smile is drawn on my face, red mushrooms and love is sent to my heart.

Pink Tulips Around London

Pretty pink tulips bought from Jacques Floret, lovely tulips carried away in my pink bicycle, little flowers in the big London. Careful, remain in my basket and don’t fly away in the cold Thames. My lovely tulips, my little treasures, you leave a pink taste of spring to my cycle rides.

Little Deserts and Gourmand Darling

One, two, three little deserts. One raspberry mousse, two chocolates and three little sweets, how lovely you look my little St Valentine’s treats! One, two, three and you disappear in a French kiss in the tummy of my gourmand darling.

A Tea, a Cake and the Sunday Times

Sunday afternoon, a bit of travel writing, notes takings and newspapers reading. Play on words and reflective writings with a slip of tea and a slice of cheesecake. The rosehip tea to give my writing a touch of Britishness and a berries cheesecake to perfume the content of my insights.  A few postcards to write, drops of rain on the window and it’s another delightful sunday afternoon.

Lovely boat, floating bookshop, may I jump in to read a bit of poetry?
